Independance Day

Independance Day

It was a red letter day in the history of India when the country got her freedom on 15 August 1947. It took hundreds of years for us to break shackles of slavery.

People of the country celebrate this festival every year with great pomp and show. The main programme is celebrated at the Red Fort in New Delhi. Besides, this festival is also celebrated in every city and town, in schools, colleges and universities.

Our school also celebrates this festival every year with great zeal. The Chairman of Br. Nath Pai Shikshan Sanstha Mr. Umeshji Galvankar was the Chief Guest of the programme. He hoisted the National Flag on the school building sharp at 7.45 a. m. All the students and teachers saluted the flag and then sang the National Anthem. Patriotic songs were recited both by the teachers and students.

In the end of the ceremony sweet were distributed among the students. This day reminds us every year that freedom is sacred and citizens must do everything to ensure that it shall not be endangered. As per every year our school Scout and Guide Unit attended the flag hoisting ceremony in District Center, Oros, and Sindhudurg under the guidance Mrs. Jagruti Lot (Advance, Company Leader.)
All honorable dignitaries appreciated our student’s performance.
